Yes, the sunroom exterior wall could do with a little paint, as the vine growing on it died and the so-called summer weather did not cooperate with my painting plans, but inside, the place is sunny, cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Every window looks out to trees and native birds, butterflies and skinks make their home here, as the place backs onto a bush gully.
Nearby are native bush walks in multiple reserves, beaches, various cafes and restaurants and other activities. All this and only a 5-10 minute drive from the CBD, depending on traffic.
Whether your trip is for business, a family holiday or a weekend getaway, this down-to-earth home allows you to kick your shoes off and breathe.
Do some bird spotting, play one of the board games, watch some of the selection of DVDs, or go for a walk to one of the local cafes.
The kitchen is original, but has a fabulous double-door fridge and a dishwasher.
There's a laundry with mini tub and washing machine (no dryer) and the toilet is separate from the bathroom. Parking for one car.

Summary: This property was in a perfect location to Sacred Heart college where our son had a sports tournament. Price was good. Comfy beds. Good shower.

Summary: The location was excellent and the house comfortable & well equipped. Outside is very untidy so we were a bit concerned on arrival. It would be good if owner could share cell phone number for easy communication and include instruction that lock box is up stairs. I also suggest putting a sheet of instructions inside eg wifi code, how to operate dishwasher etc. Also information about local attractions, eating places etc with directions/locality would be good.

Summary: I would recommend a little garden tidy out front, i know the back was tidied, it looked great. I would ask also one more sitting chair in lounge..as couch was small. thank you. good location very clean and tidy

Summary: Great central location to access all that Auckland has to offer. The place had everything we needed and was tidy. Lovely clean sheets and a clean and tidy bathroom, kitchen etc. The photos in the listing are forgiving. The interior of the house is in need of a refresh in terms of paint and carpet and with the exterior with some fine weather over summer it would be lovely to see the outside of the house get a waterblast and repaint. But overall the place accommodated what we needed and was cosy and warm and the price was reflective of this. One minor improvement could be adding another chair or a bean bag in the lounge as there is only seating for two. Note for others is that the door needs a good pull to open when the key is turned. We enjoyed our stay thank you.

Summary: Great little cottage excellent location- interior very clean warm and very quiet Love the Spanish influence- gracias Just very short walk to Masa - a fantastic Japanese restaurant- excellent food and service The exterior and grounds almost turned us away- hopefully the summer is kind and allows an external clean up Will definitely use again Rgds Les

Summary: It was differcult to find the key with 5 lock boxes around. The outside wasnt the greatest and had to be careful not to slip.inside we were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness, very different from the outside. It was great that dogs were allowed however no fencing. There were a few issues with lightbulbs, no firewood and unfortunately the hot water packed up on our last 2 days.

Summary: I sneezed because I have house dust allergy. When I went to bed, my lungs suffered.When I swept the floor, I got a lot of what looked like pet hair.Had to buy detergent and hand soap because there was very little left.
